On Tuesday, the Turkish Coast Guard arrested 8 irregular migrants on an island off the coast of the western state of Izmir.

The command of the Turkish Coast Guard stated in a statement that it had received news of the presence of a group of migrants off the coast of the state’s “Cesme” district.
It explained that the coast guard crews arrested 8 irregular migrants (whose nationalities were not mentioned) on an island off the aforementioned judiciary.
It was found that the Greek coast guard threw them into the waters of the “Aegean” Sea, to reach the land of the island with their individual capabilities.

It added that the security forces transferred the migrants to the Directorate of Migration Management in Izmir to complete the legal procedures against them.
