Trade exchange between Kazakhstan and Turkey increased 15 times

The Minister of Trade and Integration of Kazakhstan, Bakit Sultanov, said that the volume of trade exchange between his country and Turkey has multiplied 15 times during the last three decades.

“Turkey is one of the important trading partners of our country,” Sultanov added in an interview on Wednesday, which dealt with the growing trade relations between Ankara and Nur-Sultan.

He continued, “The relations of our two countries in the field of trade are in a remarkable development,” noting that the volume of trade between the two countries has multiplied 15 times during the past 30 years.

He pointed out that the first half of this year witnessed a trade exchange between the two countries worth $1.788 billion.

He explained that the two sides are working closely to raise the volume of trade exchange between them to 10 billion dollars in the long term.
