The Turkish women’s volleyball team defeated its Russian counterpart 3-2 on Monday in the last match of the second group of the “Tokyo 2020” Olympics.

The Turkish team, which qualified for the quarter-finals in advance, defeated the Russian team, which plays under the banner of the “Russian Olympic Committee”, by 3 games to two.
With this victory, which was attended by the Turkish Minister of Youth and Sports Mehmet Muharrem Kasaboglu, Turkish women took third place in the second group.
