This came, according to the Associated Press, citing data issued by Johns Hopkins University on Wednesday.
The data showed that in the last week, the United States witnessed an average of 265,000 daily injuries, exceeding the record number recorded last January, which amounted to 250 thousand injuries per day at its peak.
