The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the death of a soldier as a result of fire by PKK terrorist organization members at a base in the area of Operation “Makhallab-al-Qalf” in northern Iraq.

And the ministry said in a statement on Thursday: “Soldier Muhammad Maral was martyred as a result of fire fired by the separatist terrorist organization on a base in the area of Operation Claw-Al-Qawl.”
She added, “We pray to God for mercy for our dear martyr, who rose in this incident that hurt and saddened us.”

The ministry expressed its condolences to the soldier’s family, the armed forces and the Turkish people.
