The “Acnji Teha” drones were shown at an international exhibition

The Turkish company Baykar displayed its “Akenci Teha” drones at an international defense industry exhibition for the first time.

On Monday, in the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi, the activities of the International Defense Exhibition and Conference (IDEX) and the Maritime Defense and Security Exhibition (NAVDEX) kicked off, with the participation of more than 50 Turkish companies.

Baykar participated in the Navdex Maritime Exhibition, where its general manager and head of its delegation participating in the exhibition, Khalouk Bayraktar, held meetings with many other participating international delegations.

The Turkish company presented Akinci Teha’s career at an international exhibition for the first time, after previously participating in the Techno Fest Azerbaijan.

According to information, the UAE is interested in a number of Turkish defense products, such as Akanci Teha, Bayraktar “TB2” and Attack helicopters.

Since its entry into the service of the Turkish Armed Forces on August 29, 2021, the Akinci Teh drones have participated in many military missions.

Baykar concluded deals with 5 countries in order to sell them the Akinci Teha drones, as it is expected that the first drones will be exported during the current year, and negotiations are underway with other countries.

The activities of the 16th edition of IDEX 2023 and the 7th edition of NAVDEX 2023, organized by the ADNEC Group in cooperation with the UAE Ministry of Defense, kicked off on Monday, and they will last for 5 days at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center, with the participation of more than 1,350 companies from different countries of the world.
