Turkish Parliament Speaker Mustafa Şentop met Tuesday with North Macedonian Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani and his accompanying delegation in the capital, Ankara.

During the meeting, Shantoub pointed out that there are deep historical ties between Turkey and North Macedonia, and that his country attaches importance to all peoples with cultural ties.
He stated that Turkey has supported North Macedonia since the first day of its independence and that it will continue to stand by it in international forums.
He also stressed the importance of increasing bilateral cooperation in the fight against the “FETÖ” terrorist organization.

In turn, Osmani thanked Turkey for his country’s support since its independence until today, stressing North Macedonia’s support for Turkey in the fight against terrorism.
