Sending 200 tons of Russian aid to Turkey

The Turkish ambassador to Moscow, Mehmet Samsar, announced that the volume of aid collected in Russia and heading to Turkey today amounted to 200 tons.

This came in a press statement by the ambassador from Vnukovo International Airport on Sunday, while he was supervising the process of sending aid to the earthquake-affected people in Turkey.

Samsar indicated that the total volume of aid on the cargo plane heading to Turkey today amounted to 200 tons.

He explained that all the aid that was collected was wrapped and sent to the airport in order to deliver it to the affected people in the southern regions of Turkey.

The ambassador also thanked Turkish Airlines for its contribution in transporting the donations.
