Russia returns its military units participating to their bases

The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Tuesday that its military units participating in the exercises held in the Crimea have begun to return to their bases.

The media spokesman for the Southern Military District, Vadim Astafiev, said that the region’s units had completed their tasks in the maneuvers that were conducted in Crimea and had begun to return to their permanent bases.

On the other hand, the Russian Northern Fleet announced the start of military exercises in the Barents Sea, with the participation of 20 warships.

It is noteworthy that the Russian Defense Ministry announced earlier today that some of its military units had completed their tasks in the maneuvers and had begun their return to their bases.
