Representatives of 16 Saudi tourism agencies visit Amasya


The Central Black Sea Region Development Agency of Turkey organized an introductory tour of the state of Amasya in northern Turkey for a number of Saudi tourism agencies.

The introductory tour organized on Thursday was held with the participation of representatives of 16 Saudi tourism agencies.

The Saudi delegation visited the Sabuncuoglu Museum of Medicine and Surgery, Yali Buyu Houses and Princes Road.

After the end of the tour, representatives of Saudi tourism agencies participated in a luncheon organized by the Amasya Municipality.

After the luncheon, the Saudi delegation headed to Lake Burabay in the Tashova region.

In a statement to reporters, the coordinator of the Central Black Sea Development Agency, Arden Goden, said that the agency is organizing various activities with the aim of increasing the region’s share of tourism income.

He pointed out that the Saudi agencies participating in the introductory tour are among the agencies that bring the most tourists to the Black Sea region.
