Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced that his government will raise the minimum wage next July.
This came in statements to reporters upon leaving the Turkish parliament building after participating in a meeting of the parliamentary bloc of his party.
In response to a journalist’s question about the possibility of the government announcing a new increase in the minimum wage this year, Erdogan said, “In July.”
