Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan affirmed that his country will continue to stand by Lebanon as it was yesterday.
This came in a joint press conference with Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati on Tuesday in the capital, Ankara.

“We will continue to stand by Lebanon as the friend in need, as we were yesterday,” Erdogan said.
He added that he informed Mikati of the readiness of Turkish companies to implement infrastructure projects in Lebanon, including the reconstruction of Beirut Port.
