The Kosovar government lit the walls of its building in the capital, Pristina, with the Turkish flag, in solidarity with the victims of the earthquake that struck the Turkish state of Kahramanmaraş two days ago.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti said in a tweet on Wednesday that the lighting of the building with the Turkish flag comes on the day of declaring one-day public mourning in Kosovo to commemorate the earthquake victims.

And he added, “We pray for the safety of the injured and affirm that we stand by Turkey and its people.”
