Juba, the Turkish ambassador meets the Vice President

The Turkish Ambassador to Juba Erdem Motav met with the Vice President of the Republic of South Sudan Hussain Abd al-Baqi Acuil, and the Minister of Education and Training Awut Deng Acuil

On Monday, the resources correspondent reported that the meeting discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two countries in the fields of education and combating the Coronavirus.

During the meeting, Motav reiterated Turkey’s keenness to build a constructive partnership with South Sudan.

And to provide all aspects of support to the nascent state through the Turkish institutions active in the continent (the Red Crescent, TIKA, and the Waqf of Knowledge).

For his part, Vice President Acuil stressed the importance that his country attaches to relations with Turkey, again thanking Ankara for its honorable stances in support of the developing country.

Juba Government Education and Training Minister Awut Deng Acuil made clear his country’s readiness to move forward.

This is in order to achieve the greatest benefit in the education and training sectors, especially scholarships.
