Istanbul Stock Exchange closed at its highest level since December

On Wednesday, the Istanbul Stock Exchange BIST 100 index recorded its highest daily close since December 2021, with 2,983 points.

The index ended today’s trading with gains of 2.29 percent, an increase of 66.70 points compared to the previous close.

The trading volume of the shares of the companies included in this index amounted to 69 billion pounds (about 3.83 billion dollars).

The banking sector index was the most profitable with 7.84 percent, while the holding companies index increased by 2.01 percent.
