Istanbul hosts the official ball for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar


In Besiktas Square in Istanbul, the giant version of “The Journey”, the official ball for the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be hosted by Qatar, began a few days later.


The giant version of the “journey” ball is about 3 meters high and weighs about 280 kilograms, and it will be displayed in Besiktas Square for 10 days.

The Journey is a ball inspired by the architecture, boats and Qatar flag, designed to reflect the culture of the host country of the World Cup and is characterized by the highest levels of accuracy and reliability thanks to its design and surface texture.


The Journey is the 14th World Cup ball unveiled by Adidas, a world famous manufacturer of sports products.
