Dozens of Palestinians participated in the sit-down called by the Factional Coordination Committee to demand the return of the body of the 41-year-old martyr, Shadi al-Shurfa, who was killed by the Israeli army last Tuesday and whose body is still being held.

The stand included speeches by representatives of political forces and local institutions, in which they demanded the release of the martyr’s body and an end to the policy of detaining the bodies.

An eyewitness said that the stand was organized at the entrance to the town of Beita, near the place of Al-Shurfa’s martyrdom, and then moved towards a point where an occupying army force is stationed.

Who quickly met her with a barrage of gas bombs, causing cases of suffocation among the participants.
