On Monday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed his hope that the scenes of Israeli attacks in Al-Aqsa Mosque would not be repeated.
This came in a speech during the traditional breakfast program with foreign ambassadors to Ankara at the Justice and Development Party headquarters in the capital.
Erdogan said: “We see what is happening in Al-Aqsa Mosque, which is really sad. I hope that such scenes will not be repeated in the future.”
In another context, the Turkish president said: “We are seriously pursuing normalization efforts with Armenia, and we are making efforts to prevent new tensions and maintain stability in the Balkans.”
