Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said on Saturday that the West is “most responsible for the massacre” to which the Palestinian Gaza Strip is currently being subjected.
He added during a massive public gathering in support of Palestine in Istanbul: “I say to the West, do you want a crescent and cross war again? If you are seeking that, know that this nation is not dead.”
Erdogan stressed that “everyone knows that Israel is nothing but a pawn in the region that will be sacrificed when the time comes.”
He stressed that “Western politicians and media are on alert to legitimize massacres against children, women and innocent people in Gaza, and Israel is clearly committing war crimes.”
The Turkish President continued: “The West is most responsible for the massacre in Gaza.”

He pointed out that “the real owners of the game taking place in the region are those who sponsor the arrogant actions of the Israeli administration, because Tel Aviv cannot take steps against their will.”
He added: “How many children, women and the elderly must die for you to declare a ceasefire? The West’s book of sins has once again exceeded the limits of the game.”
He continued: “O world, you see all these facts. The Secretary-General of the United Nations (Antonio Guterres) is shouting, but you are not listening. You have become deaf and blind.”
He continued: “These (the West) know how to kill. They used to eliminate Jews en masse in gas chambers and wipe out cities and their inhabitants from the map with atomic bombs.”
President Erdogan added: “God willing, we will see that day when the oppressors depart from the lives of the Palestinian people, for the injustice of the oppressor does not last forever.”
He addressed Israel, saying: “The West owes you, but Turkey does not, so we speak while we are comfortable, and Erdogan speaks in this way because Turkey does not owe you.”
