Erdogan: Our forces will continue to storm all hideouts of PKK terrorists

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan confirmed that his country’s army will continue to storm all the hideouts of PKK terrorists in northern Iraq.

This came in a speech on Wednesday during his participation in the Ramadan Iftar program with representatives of Turkish civil organizations in Istanbul.

Erdogan said that 5 Turkish armed forces martyrs were killed in the “claw-lock” operation in northern Iraq, pointing to the neutralization and killing of about 60 terrorists.

“Turkish special forces have stormed and will continue to storm all hideouts of PKK terrorists,” he added.

Erdogan expressed his condolences to all civil society organizations for the attack on the Turkish Youth Endowment “TÜGVA” branch last week in Istanbul.

He added, “The treacherous acts of terrorist organizations will not prevent us from providing services to our country, especially to our youth.”

He continued, “Our civil society organizations will continue their work with courage by uniting efforts in the platform of the national will.”

On Tuesday, Turkish Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu announced the arrest of the terrorist who left an explosive device in front of a youth institution in Istanbul.

Last Thursday, Istanbul witnessed an explosion in front of the Turkish Youth Endowment branch “TÜGVA” in the European side of Istanbul.
