The movement said in a statement: “The Turkish president graciously agreed to receive the wounded girl, Rahaf Salman, and her family for treatment in Turkey.”

Hamas added: “The child Salman had demanded yesterday (Monday) to work on transferring her for treatment in Turkey.”

Salman was injured during the recent Israeli raids on Gaza and lost three of her limbs.

Over the course of three days (from Friday to Sunday), a military confrontation erupted between the Israeli army and the Islamic Jihad movement in the Gaza Strip, which ended with an Egyptian-brokered ceasefire.
