Chinese websites published an article by the head of the Communications Department of the Presidency of the Turkish Republic, Fahrettin Altun, entitled “From Independence to the Future.. Turkey’s Centenary.”
Altun’s article was published on Monday after being translated into Chinese on the “Sina” and “Sohu” websites, which are widely followed in China.
Altun’s article, in which he talked about the progress of the Turkish Republic since its founding, received widespread interaction on both sites.
Yesterday, Sunday, the Turkish people celebrated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Republic, corresponding to October 29.
