Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu confirmed on Wednesday that his country will continue its resolute struggle against all kinds of hate crimes.
This came in a message he posted on Twitter on the occasion of the International Day to Combat Islamophobia, which falls on March 15 of each year.
Çavuşoğlu said in his tweet: “This day is the International Day to Combat Islamophobia. In this period when attacks on the Islamic religion are increasing, our firm struggle against all kinds of hate crimes will continue.”

With Turkish efforts, in March 2022, the United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution No. 76/254 to declare the 15th of the same month an international day to combat “Islamophobia.”
