According to Anadolu Agency, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said in a speech to the United Nations General Assembly to review the crisis in Palestine: “The Israeli blockade of Gaza has turned the region into the largest prison.”
“The Israeli attacks are similar to war crimes,” said Cavusoglu, who condemned the Zionist regime’s attacks on the Palestinian people.
We have to determine the perpetrator of this crime, and the only part responsible for the attacks on Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza is Israel.
“It is time for the international community to take effective and legal measures to stop the Israeli attacks on the Palestinians,” he said.
He added, “Silence in the face of injustice means complicity in crime, and whoever is silent in the face of injustice is a mute devil.”

Stressing that anti-Semitism is a crime against humanity, Cavusoglu said: “Those who criticize the aggression of the Israeli government are immediately accused of anti-Semitism.”
Nevertheless, we believe that anti-Semitism, like Islamophobia and hostility to Christianity, is a crime against humanity.
The Turkish foreign minister stressed in another part of his speech: “We must work to establish an international mechanism to protect the Palestinian people.”
The mechanism should also include the formation of an international peacekeeping force to physically protect the Palestinian people by using financial aid and forces designated by the volunteer states.
