Azerbaijani ambassador praises military cooperation with Turkey


Azerbaijani Ambassador to Ankara Rashad Mammadov praised the existing military cooperation between his country and Turkey.

In an interview, he added that Turkey and Azerbaijan have common relations in many fields.


He stressed that Turkey and Azerbaijan have supported each other at all times, indicating that the peoples of the two countries have common issues.

The ambassador praised the military cooperation with Turkey, pointing out that the two countries have many tasks to deepen cooperation and harmony between their armed forces.

Mammadov described the visits of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to Azerbaijan this year as “historic.”

In another context, the ambassador said that the opening of the “Zanzoor Corridor” would unite the Turkish world.


The aforementioned corridor provides a new link between Turkey and Azerbaijan, as it crosses the territory of the Armenian province of Zanjour.

which separates mainland Azerbaijan from the Azerbaijani Nakhchivan Autonomous Region bordering Turkey.
