On Sunday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the neutralization of two PKK/YPG terrorists in northern Syria.
The ministry added in a statement that the Turkish armed forces neutralized the two terrorists in the area of ”Euphrates Shield” operations after they were making preparations to launch an attack on the area.
YPG represents the Syrian arm of PKK, which is active in countries in the region, including Iraq and Iran.
Turkish forces, in cooperation with the Syrian National Army, carried out several operations in northern Syria against ISIS and PKK/YPG.
Through these operations, it cleared thousands of kilometers of land from terrorists and provided the opportunity for thousands of Syrians to return safely to their areas.
