Turkish diplomatic sources reported that the Swedish Chargé d’Affairs was informed of Turkey’s strong protest against terrorist propaganda of the organization’s supporters.

She added that “Ankara asked to identify those involved and take the necessary legal and judicial measures against them, and stressed its aspirations for Sweden to take concrete steps in light of the tripartite memorandum of understanding.”

In late June, Turkey, Sweden and Finland signed a tripartite memorandum of understanding on the two countries’ membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization “NATO”
