Head of the Turkish Presidency Communication Department Fahrettin Altun said that President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s recent visit to New York witnessed many diplomatic successes.
This came in a tweet he posted on Twitter on Thursday, commenting on the Turkish President’s visit to New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly and the activities he participated in on the sidelines of the visit.
Altun referred to Erdogan’s participation in many bilateral meetings and meetings, noting that he stressed at every opportunity the importance of international cooperation and solidarity.
He added, “The successful visit we had to New York to participate in the United Nations General Assembly meeting witnessed many diplomatic successes.
During which we affirmed our commitment to international cooperation in finding solutions to global crises.
The Turkish official stressed the need for the world to move with Turkey and listen to the proposals called by Erdogan.
Earlier on Thursday, President Erdogan arrived in Turkey back from New York, where he participated in the work of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which started last Tuesday.
