On Monday, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the death of one of its soldiers from wounds sustained in clashes with terrorists in northern Iraq.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement that clashes erupted on Sunday between the Turkish army and PKK terrorists in the “Al-Makhalab-Al-Qafl” scientific area.
The statement added that a soldier was wounded in these clashes and later died of his injuries.
