A message of condolence from Turkey for the Sierra Leone explosion

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a telegram of condolences for the victims of a fuel tanker explosion in Freetown, the capital of Sierra Leone.

In a written statement from the Ministry, it was learned with great sadness that several people lost their lives and were injured as a result of last night’s explosion in the collision of an oil tanker and a truck in Freetown.

“We offer our condolences to the people and government of Sierra Leone, our condolences to the families and relatives of those who lost their lives, and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” the statement said.

92 people were killed in a fuel tanker explosion in Wellington, east of Freetown.
