Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban said that the Turkish world and Turkish countries will play a major role in establishing dialogue between global blocs.
This came in a speech on Thursday during his participation in the emergency summit of the Organization of Turkish States held in the capital, Ankara.
Orban expressed his condolences for the victims of the earthquake that struck southern Turkey, stressing his country’s continuation in providing aid to Ankara.
He indicated that his country plans, within this context, to send an additional 100 tons of medical supplies.

He noted the development that Turkey witnessed during the past 23 years under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, stressing that “this matter will continue during the next stage.”
In the context of his talk about the Russian-Ukrainian war, Orban stressed the need to ensure a cease-fire and a declaration of peace as soon as possible.
He explained that Europe has been restructured as a result of the war, and this matter will have an impact on the Turkish world as well.
He thanked Erdogan as the only person who succeeded in starting negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
He continued, “Only in this way can we achieve peace. I would like to express my gratitude to President Erdogan for his contributions to peace.”
On Thursday, an emergency summit of the Organization of Turkish States was launched in the Turkish capital, Ankara, under the auspices of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and with a proposal from Azerbaijan, under the title: “Disaster and Emergency Management and Humanitarian Aid.”
The summit is held with the aim of solidarity with Turkey following the double earthquake that the country witnessed on February 6, as it is expected to discuss issues on developing cooperation in combating disasters and their effects, and to address common issues on the agenda of countries.
