The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced that the “Bayraktar” ship, which was converted into a “floating hospital”, continues to provide medical services to the earthquake victims in the south of the country.
“The Ministry of Health teams continue to provide treatment services, including surgical operations, to our citizens injured in the earthquake on board the Bayraktar ship, which has been converted into a hospital,” the ministry said in a statement on Saturday.
The “Bayraktar” ship of the Turkish Armed Forces, which was converted into a “floating hospital” after the earthquake, is currently moored in the port of Dortyol district of Hatay state to provide medical services to the injured.
