According to local media, the capital, Brasilia, and 21 other regions of the country witnessed anti-government protests and demanded the import of more vaccines against the Coronavirus.
The demonstrators blamed Bolsonaro for the deaths of more than half a million people with the virus since the outbreak of the pandemic, chanting slogans against the government and demanding the removal of the president.
It is noteworthy that President Bolsonaro has been the subject of controversy due to his disregard for the virus and his measures since the beginning of the epidemic.
And last April, a parliamentary commission of inquiry was set up in the Senate to investigate whether the government had neglected its duties regarding necessary measures during the pandemic.
