205 kilograms of narcotics seized in Van, Turkey

Police teams in Van do not turn a blind eye to drug smugglers, they seized 205 kilograms of narcotics in a search of two different vehicles.

According to the statement issued by the Governorate Security Directorate, efforts continue without interruption for those who engage in drug trafficking, transportation, or storage.

In this context, the anti-drug crime branch stopped a suspicious car in Edremit District.

During the search with the drug dog “Ermak”, 128 kilos and 100 grams of heroin were seized in 240 packages.

During the searches carried out in a house in the Ipekiolo district and a vehicle stopped on suspicion, 77 kg and 140 g of heroin were found in 140 packages.

The suspects involved in the two incidents are E.U. and F.Y. They were arrested on charges of “trafficking/transporting narcotics or stimulants”.

The police wrote “Good luck to you, Eren” and addressed it to Eren Bulbul who was martyred by PKK terrorists in Trabzon’s rural Macka district in 2017 with the heroin packages they seized.
