17,912 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours

In the past 24 hours, 290,186 coronavirus tests were conducted in Turkey, and the tests showed that 17,912 people were infected, and 245 people died.

Accordingly, 290,186 tests for COVID-19 were conducted in Turkey in the past 24 hours.

And the result of the test of 17,912 people was positive, 245 people lost their lives, and the number of those who recovered was 12,175.

Among the population over the age of 18, the proportion of those who received the first dose of the vaccine was 76.81 percent, and the proportion of those who received the second dose of the vaccine was 58.84 percent.

The total number of vaccines manufactured in Turkey has also increased so far to 92 million and 710 thousand 374 vaccines as part of the fight against COVID-19.

A total of 319,371 vaccines were administered during the past 24 hours.

The 10 provinces with the highest rate of people receiving at least one dose of the vaccine were also announced:

Mugla, Çanakkale, Edirne, Kırklareli, Balikesir, Amasya, Tekirdag, Aydin, Yalova and Antalya respectively.

The provinces with the lowest rate of at least one dose of the vaccine are listed as Şanlıurfa, Gumushane, Mardin, Diyarbakir, Bitlis, Muş, Bingol, Batman, Bayburt, Siirt.
