Volleyball: Turkish women win bronze in European Championship

The Turkish women’s volleyball team ranked third in the European Championship after defeating the Dutch national team.

The Turkish women won 3-0 in the match to determine the third and fourth places in the tournament hosted by the Serbian capital Belgrade, to win the bronze medal for the tournament.

“Handa Baldan” and “Abrar Qara Kurt” each scored 13 points, “Zahra Gunesh” 9, and “Eda Erdem Dundar” 8.

Togba Şanoğlu 5, Jansu Ozbay, Meliha Ismailoglu 3 and Meryem Boz 2.

The Turkish team lost in the semi-finals to the Serbian team 3-1, while the Dutch team lost in the same round to the Italian women.
