Ukraine announced that Russia lost 19,300 soldiers, 152 planes, 137 helicopters and 722 tanks during the war between the two sides.

This came in a statement of the Ukrainian General Staff on Sunday about the losses of the Russian army between February 24 and April 10.
“19,300 soldiers of the Russian army were killed and 152 planes, 137 helicopters and 722 tanks were destroyed,” the statement said.
He also referred to the destruction of 1,911 armored vehicles, 342 artillery, 108 rocket launchers and 55 air defense systems.
He also pointed out that the Russian side lost 1,384 vehicles, 7 ships and speed boats, 76 fuel tanks, and 112 drones.
There was no immediate comment from the Russian side regarding the statement of the Ukrainian staff, and it was not possible to verify the Ukrainian account from independent sources.
