TurkSat provides earthquake zones with 800 internet stations

Turksat provided the 10 states affected by the earthquake in southern Turkey with 800 satellite stations to provide and accelerate Internet service.

Turksat’s deputy director in Hatay, Salman Demiral, said that 70 percent of the 800 stations have been activated.

He pointed out that the internet service in the stations is provided via the Turkish satellite “5B”.

He affirmed the company’s readiness to provide the region with more stations when needed.
