The Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), in cooperation with Waqf al-Salam, supervised the completion of the construction and equipment of the Vocational Education and Youth Center in Tanzania.
The agency said in a statement on Tuesday that the vocational center located on Zanzibar Island includes housing with 40 rooms, 8 classrooms, a library and a restaurant.
The statement indicated that the agency provided all restoration equipment inside the youth center and provided cooking, carpentry and sewing supplies at the Al-Salam Vocational School.

He stated that the opening ceremony of the center took place in the presence of the Minister of Social Development, Women and Children in Zanzibar, Riziki Pemba Juma, and the Turkish Ambassador to Dar es Salaam, Mehmet Gulu Oglu.
In a speech during the ceremony, Juma expressed her thanks to Turkey and TIKA officials for supporting the project.
The minister said that the center will have great benefits for the residents of the area.
