Kahramanmaraş, southern Turkey, exported metal kitchen utensils to 90 countries last year, at a value of $133 million.

Kahramanmaraş is one of the most prominent Turkish states in this sector, as it includes companies from the largest producers of cooking utensils (pots) in Europe.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Kahramanmaraş, Mustafa Poluntu, said that the state covers about 40 percent of Turkey’s production in this sector.

He explained that Kahramanmaraş exported metal kitchen utensils to 90 countries in 2022, with revenues of $133 million.

He mentioned that Egypt, Morocco and Israel are at the forefront of importing metal kitchen utensils from the Turkish state.

He indicated that they are seeking to increase the volume of exports and the number of importing countries, and aspire to record exports of about $200 million in 2023.
