Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met with the head of the Iraqi Turkmen Front, Hasan Turan, in the capital Ankara on Wednesday. The Turkish Foreign Ministry stated in a post on the X platform that Fidan received Turan in Ankara, and published a photo of the meeting.
The post also stated that Minister Fidan received Kirkuk Provincial Council member and former governor Rakan al-Jabouri, and the official spokesman for the Sovereignty Party, Khaled al-Mufarji.
The ministry did not provide further details about the issues raised for discussion during the meeting.
