
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev hosted an iftar in the capital Ankara on Wednesday.
Aliyev is visiting Turkey to attend the opening ceremony of the Iğdır-Nakhchivan natural gas pipeline, and on the sidelines of the visit, the two presidents hosted an iftar at the Presidential Complex in the capital Ankara.
Earlier on Wednesday, Erdogan held a joint press conference with his Azerbaijani counterpart during the opening ceremony of the Iğdır-Nakhchivan natural gas pipeline.
During the opening ceremony, Erdogan stressed that the aforementioned pipeline project will ensure energy security in the Azerbaijani region of Nakhchivan for many years.
