Turkish Defense Minister holds meetings at NATO headquarters

Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar held a series of bilateral meetings on Wednesday at the headquarters of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) in the Belgian capital, Brussels.

Akar met his German counterpart Christine Lambrecht and Italian Defense Minister Lorenzo Guerini.

Akar also met with his Georgian counterparts, Guanshir Burcholadze, and Ukraine’s Oleksiy Reznikov.

Akar discussed with his counterparts bilateral relations and regional and security issues of common interest.

It is noteworthy that Akar is currently in Brussels to attend the meeting of defense ministers of the member states of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization “NATO”, which takes place today and tomorrow.
