The ministry said in a statement that its forces had spotted a PKK terrorist in the Afashin area in northern Iraq.
It indicated that the terrorist was neutralized by a raid carried out by an armed drone belonging to the Turkish army.
It stated that the Turkish forces spotted two terrorists from the YPG organization, the Syrian arm of the PKK, while they were trying to target the area of Operation Peace Spring.
