The number of aircraft departing and arriving from and to the Turkish Republic of Cyprus during last June increased by 220 percent compared to the same month of 2021.

This came in a statement issued by the Cypriot Ministry of Transport, in which it clarified that Arjan International Airport received 1,057 transport planes in June.
She added that the number of planes that took off from the aforementioned airport reached 1051, bringing the total number of incoming and outgoing planes to 2,108.
The ministry indicated that this number reached 658 during the same period last year, recording an increase of 220.36 percent.

The number of passengers (departing and arriving) from Arjan Airport reached 277,879, an increase of 391.07 percent compared to June 2021.
