Turkish “Aksungur” march sets a record for flight

The Aksungur unmanned aerial vehicle produced by the Turkish Aerospace Industries Company (TEI) set a record for flying 1,000 hours.

A statement issued by the company on Saturday said that the Aksungur broke the record for flying with or without weapons.

He added that “Aksungur” began its first field mission in the second quarter of 2021, and the flight duration of the march reached 1,000 hours and pointed out that Aksungur continued its field mission.

The Aksungur operates with two local engines, capable of transporting a payload of more than 700 kilograms and flying at an altitude of 25,000 feet, around the clock, and the march made its first flight in 2019.
