Turkey’s exports of freight vehicles will exceed $5 billion in 2022

The volume of Turkey’s exports of small and medium-sized vehicles destined for freight amounted to 5 billion and 53 million dollars in 2022.

According to information from the Uludag Vehicle Exporters Union, Britain was the most importing destination for Turkish transport vehicles last year, with a value of one billion and 392 million dollars, followed by Italy with 590 million and 3 thousand dollars, then Slovenia with 490 million and 466 thousand dollars.

Exports to the United States increased by 124.75 percent in 2022 compared to 2021, reaching $385,753,000.

While the volume of exports of the Turkish auto sector last year amounted to 30 billion and 955 million dollars, registering a growth of 5.7 percent compared to 2021.

The production of the automotive sector in Turkey last year amounted to 1,402,189 vehicles, 988,278 of which were for export.
