Last October, Turkish exports recorded a 7.4 percent increase compared to the same month in 2022.
This came in a report prepared by the Turkish Statistics Authority in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce on the volume of the country’s foreign trade in October.
According to the data, the value of exports in October amounted to 22 billion and 871 million dollars, while imports recorded an increase of 0.6 percent.
The foreign trade deficit decreased by 17.5 percent in October, recording 7 billion and 902 million dollars.
Total exports from the beginning of this year until October increased by 0.2 percent, achieving 209 billion and 904 million dollars.
During the same period, the foreign trade deficit reached 91 billion and 44 million dollars, an increase of 3.2 percent.
