The Turkish company, Aselsan, maintained its position in the global list of the 50 best companies in the defense industry for the second year in a row.

This was according to the classification of the American magazine “Defense News”, which is classified annually as one of the top 100 global companies in the defense industries.
Last year, Aselsan rose to 48th place globally to maintain its position for the current year, after it entered the mentioned list for the first time in 2008 at 97th place.
Thus, Aselsan was named the only Turkish company that entered the top 50 rankings among international companies in the defense industry, according to the American magazine’s list.
A statement by “Aselsan” quoted the Chairman of the Administrative Board and General Manager of the company, Khaluk Gurgun, as saying that Aselsan successfully passed all the challenges it faced during the period of the Corona epidemic.
He added that the results of their support for research and development projects are what brought them to this global center.

Gorgon indicated that the company’s income rose by 24 percent during 2020, to exceed $ 16 billion.
