Turkey wins 29 medals in the seventh day of the Islamic Solidarity Course

Turkish athletes won 29 medals on the seventh day of the Islamic Solidarity Games held in Konya, central Turkey.

Turkey won 14 gold, 8 silver and 7 bronze medals at the end of Monday’s competitions.

Thus, Turkey’s total number of medals rose to 238, including 93 gold, 81 silver and 64 bronze, to maintain the top spot in the tournament’s overall standings since its inception.

Last Tuesday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan officially inaugurated the fifth edition of the Islamic Solidarity Games hosted by Konya and will continue until August 18.
